Villa Colonial - Antigua

Staying at villa colonial was a great experience. My last trip to antigua had me expecting standard accommodations, but this hotel surpassed my expectations with its beautiful design. The courtyard was a fantastic space for morning coffee and relaxation.

the pool was not heated as advertised.

comforts of twin room were fabulous - a safe, tv set and a seating area. the bed was comfortable and i had a functional bathroom. the staff was more than adequate and excellent, great service.

Absolutely loved the peaceful courtyard 🌺, perfect for morning coffee! Room was cozy and clean, but the pool could use some attention. A great stay!

The real deal or a total steal?

The grounds are fine, with beautiful gardens that provide a serene backdrop. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Unfortunately, the distance from downtown can be a hassle for those wanting quick access to attractions, and some basic amenities were noticeably absent.

The kids loved the beautiful courtyard, especially during our morning coffee. The staff were super friendly. The peaceful vibe of the place was perfect for unwinding.

My wife says that the location was a bit far from the main attractions, making outings tougher with kids.

The room had an abundance of power outlets, made charging our devices so convenient. The staff were attentive and accommodating. We loved the picturesque views of the gardens from our room, perfect for relaxed mornings with coffee.

The stay featured a beautiful garden that enhanced the serenity of the Twin Room. Breakfast was excellent, with a highlight on the fresh salmon. The location was slightly out of the way was good. The night security was somewhat off-putting, with a closed gate and someone stationed at the reception that created an extra sense of unease when returning late.

A Charming Retreat with Colonial Elegance

Our group enjoyed a good 8-night stay, with fine courtyards bursting with flowers. Breakfast offered fresh Guatemalan coffee that was a true delight. The atmosphere felt vibrant with weddings adding to the beautiful ambiance. Don't miss the picturesque walk to the city center for shopping!

Stayed at villa colonial for 8 nights. Loved how close it was to the beautiful open-sided restaurant downtown. The staff was amazing, bringing us morning coffee with piping hot milk. The heated swimming pool was a nice touch too!
